Four Books. Four Very Different Journeys. Now on Kindle Unlimited.

I have some exciting news for readers.

For the first time, four of my books are now available through Kindle Unlimited: The Last King of Äncale, The Despair of Kréchellia, Murdering Tranquility & Other Stories, and The World Sideways: Poems.

If you're a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, that means you can now read all four as part of your subscription.

And they couldn't be four more different books.

The Last King of Äncale

The victims are still conscious. One man seeks a cure. One king chooses fire.

The Last King of Äncale is the first novel in The Certainty of Kings Saga, my adult epic fantasy series.

The Scourge is spreading across Äncián. Its victims appear lost, but beneath their motionless bodies, they remain terrifyingly aware.

Plantsman Wurty Longfallow believes there may be a cure. King Thagnor sees another solution: destroy the infected before the plague destroys his kingdom.

It's a story about hope and fear, ordinary people caught in extraordinary circumstances, and what happens when doing what seems necessary collides with doing what is right.

Would you wait for hope—or choose fire?

Now you can discover The Last King of Äncale on Kindle Unlimited.

The Despair of Kréchellia

Before The Last King of Äncale, there was another story from the history of Äncián.

Set roughly 400 years before the events of The Last King of Äncale, The Despair of Kréchellia tells a story of betrayal, forbidden love, war, and the tragedy that helped shape the world readers encounter centuries later.

But this isn't a traditional novel.

It's a narrative told entirely in verse, moving through different poetic forms as Kréchellia's story unfolds.

For readers who have already entered the world of Äncián, it offers a glimpse into its distant past. For everyone else, it stands on its own as a story of love, grief, and the consequences that echo long after the people who set them in motion are gone.

The Despair of Kréchellia is now available on Kindle Unlimited.

Murdering Tranquility & Other Stories

You know the moment.

Everything is ordinary.

Until it isn't.

Murdering Tranquility & Other Stories collects eleven stories that move through mystery, science fiction, fantasy, humor, satire, and the strange spaces between them.

The settings change. The genres change. The characters change.

But each story begins with something recognizable—a place, a person, a conversation, a seemingly ordinary life—and then something shifts.

If you like short fiction, unexpected turns, or simply aren't interested in staying inside one genre, this collection was made for you.

All eleven stories are now included with Kindle Unlimited.

The World Sideways: Poems

And then there's the most personal of these four books.

The World Sideways is a collection of poetry drawn from family, marriage, faith, loss, travel, memory, and the rural Pennsylvania landscape that shaped so much of my life.

Poetry asks us to look at familiar things differently.

A field.

A family story.

A relationship.

A place we've left behind.

Sometimes changing the angle—even slightly—is enough to make something familiar seem entirely new.

That's the idea at the heart of The World Sideways.

It, too, is now available through Kindle Unlimited.

Where Should You Start?

That's the fun part.

Want epic fantasy and impossible moral choices? Start with The Last King of Äncale.

Want fantasy told through poetry and set centuries earlier in the same world? Try The Despair of Kréchellia.

Want eleven shorter journeys through mystery, science fiction, fantasy, humor, and the unexpected? Pick up Murdering Tranquility & Other Stories.

Want something quieter and more personal? Open The World Sideways.

Or read all four.

Because if you're already a Kindle Unlimited subscriber, they're all now included with your membership.

I'm incredibly excited to make more of my work available this way and hopefully introduce these stories to readers who might not otherwise have discovered them.

So here's my question:

Which one are you reading first?
